The Great Lakes is a truly remarkable region of our country. Fresh water lakes, rivers, and streams lay the groundwork for a serene landscape alive with woodland critters and a species of human capable of surviving the most extreme elements. I strive to find beauty in my surroundings, and I’m fortunate to not have to look any further than our own dirt road. The gravel I drive on everyday can surrender some of the most beautiful rocks you’ve ever seen. Some of these are Lake Superior Agates, and are truly breathtaking. Each is it’s own unique, earth made masterpiece, their size irrelevant and what’s hidden within invaluable.
